In 1687, Tokugawa Tsunayoshi — the fifth Shōgun of Edo — issued the Shōrui Awaremi no Rei, the Edicts on Compassion for Living Things.
For twenty-two years, fifty thousand stray dogs were fed at state expense in a vast walled kennel at Nakano. Tsunayoshi was mocked in his time, named Inu-Kubō — the Dog Shōgun. History remembers him as the spiritual ancestor of every Inu coin that has come since.
InuPeg preserves the elite cohort: five thousand prized animals, the inner ring closest to the shōgun. Every pixel Inu in this collection is a fragment of that frozen scroll — born only when ETH crosses a Uniswap v4 pool, indexed forever to the conviction of the buyer who summoned it.
Unipeg — Unicorn + Pegasus — was Hayden Adams' first proposal for the protocol's name. Vitalik vetoed it. InuPeg is the dog-coin sibling Uniswap never had.
Total supply is fixed at 5,000 — the Inner Kennel. A whole token is an Inu; fractions are fur. Every NFT lazy-mints when a wallet's balance crosses an integer, the way Unipeg's contract has always worked.
Built on Uniswap v4 with custom beforeSwap + afterSwap hooks. The swap context — buy size, slippage, market regime, blockhash — is the mint input. Every Inu is a fingerprint of the trade that summoned it.
Every swap on Uniswap v4 mints or burns an Inu in real time. The hook never sleeps.

Every Inu is born with a static gene — breed, coat, temperament, star. From there, vitality grows through the wallet's behavior. Big buys, multiple buys, long holds, founder-window timing — they all bake into a single number that determines the visual tier and the holder reward share.
The 4% trade tax (2% buys, 2% sells) accumulates in a vault. Each daily epoch, every Inu claims a share of the pot proportional to its vitality.

An ERC-20 token paired one-to-one with an NFT inventory. A Uniswap v4 hook mints a unique pixel-art Shiba Inu every time a wallet's balance crosses a whole integer. Each Inu carries traits derived from the swap that summoned it.
Existing dog coins are pure ERC-20s. InuPeg is the first dog asset native to Uniswap v4 hooks — the swap itself is the mint trigger, the trade context is the trait input. Same architecture as Unipeg ($uPEG), the OG hook-hybrid, but with a vitality + holder rewards layer on top.
4% on every trade — 2% on buys, 2% on sells — collected by the hook into a vault. Each daily epoch, every Inu claims a share proportional to its vitality. Two modes: claim ETH directly, or auto-compound back into more InuPeg + more vitality.
The first 7 days after launch, every action counts 3× toward vitality. That multiplier is permanently baked into the NFT — it does not expire when the window closes. Founder Inus stay founder Inus.
Buys must be ≥ 0.01 ETH and at least one hour apart to count. Round-trips within 24 hours zero out vitality gains (wash-trade defense). Pack-link requires distinct funded wallets. Vitality is credited only to tx.origin, so MEV sandwiches don't farm free vitality.
Single-sided Uniswap v4 LP. The full 5,000 supply is added as token-only liquidity in a range above spot — no team ETH paired at seed. Buys consume tokens and form the paired side organically. Fair, fully on-chain price discovery.
